About Me
My Name is Katie Hart. I was born and raised in Pittsburgh. I live in Shaler currently with my fiance and two cats. I work full-time as an event coordinator for the Department of Energy. I spend my weekends doing makeup for weddings and special occasions.
I am a self taught artist. I take great care in giving my clients the look they desire while keeping sanitation and safety my number one priority.
Growing up, I was very creative and always making art. Once I became a teenager, makeup became not just part of my morning but a full hobby. I wanted to learn every technique I came across. I loved color, big lashes and glitter. My friends let me practice on them and I would do their makeup before big events or nights out. Soon they were asking me to do their makeup for their weddings. This was a big deal to me and I took the challenge. Through word of mouth I completed more and more jobs. Eventually, I felt comfortable putting myself out there and advertising my services. My business continues to grow and grow. I absolutely love what I do.
